Presented by The Kennedy Center on Tour

Elephant & Piggie’s We Are In A Play

About The Show

Elephant Gerald is an elephant: lumbering, formally attired, prone to melancholy. Piggie is (what else!) a piggy: perky, smiley, full of fun. Despite the fundamental differences in character and appearance, they are “bestest” friends. In this brand-new vaudevillian romp of a musical based on Mo Willems’ beloved books, Elephant Gerald and Piggie sing and dance their way through plenty of pachydermal peril and swiney suspense. The two face fundamental questions like: what do you wear to a fancy pool costume party? Should you share your ice cream? And how can two friends play with one toy? Assisted by nutty back-up singers, The Squirrelles, our duo even gets the audience involved. Get ready… you’ll be doing the "Flippy Floppy Floory" dance all day long!

There will be a Q&A session after the 12:15 PM show
